Mission Statement

Hearing HealthCare Centers has proudly served Boulder County since 1984. Dr. Whitney Swander has been Director of Audiology since 2000. In the late summer of 2008, Dr. Swander purchased the Longmont and Boulder offices and in the winter of 2011, a new Broomfield office was opened. Hearing HealthCare Centers is a full service hearing center with capabilities of serving pediatrics to geriatric hearing needs. The staff includes two Doctors of Audiology. Whether monitoring otitis media in children or improving the quality of life through hearing aid fittings, patients will be made to feel uniquely care for by that at Hearing HealthCare Centers.

Joyce Funkenbusch, Patient Care Coordinator

If you call or stop by the Boulder office, you'll meet Joyce. Joyce has worked at Hearing HealthCare Centers since 2006 as Patient Care Coordinator. Joyce handles all patients scheduling and the overall day-to-day functions of the office. This includes making and confirming appointments, managing patient files and provider schedules and entering data into our patient database among many other things. Everyone who meets Joyce adores her because she has a gift for making people feel welcome and important.

Married for over 30 years, she and her husband, Roger live in Firestone. They are the proud parents of 4 grown children and prouder grandparents to 6 grandchildren. They spend most of their spare time spoiling their grandkids and taking long drives to the mountains. She also likes spending time in her garden, cross-stitching, and listening to country music.
